Essence of Religion

The "Hidden Words" is a compilation of verses in Arabic and Persian revealed by Baha'u'llah, the Prophet-Founder of the Baha'i Faith, in Baghdad about 1858 AD (C.E.)  As can be seen in the opening verse quoted below, the Baha'is believe that the Prophet-Founders of past religions have all been the Bearers of the message of the One True God at different times and places.  The "Hidden Words" claims to have taken the "inner essence" of those past religions and has re-revealed it for today.
