On January 12, 2016, a new workshop series will be offered at the Mercy Center Auburn. Several Placer County Baha'is will start a 9-session workshop series called Conversations on Racial Healing. The workshop materials came from the Baha'i-inspired workshops of the Institutes for the Healing of Racism. Baha'is and members of the public are most welcome to participate! We hope to learn and share experiences with people from many backgrounds.
We plan to meet every week on Tuesdays in Auburn to discuss various aspects of racism and racial bias in a safe, friendly environment, with the intention of developing friendships and becoming allies of people of color. For more information about this new series, please click on this link:
