Throughout the Spring/Summer months of 2022, Baha'is around the world are gathering locally with their friends and neighbors for interactive conferences dedicated to the betterment of our communities.
On May 21, over 140 Baha’is and well-wishers of humanity from El Dorado, Nevada and Placer Counties gathered in Lincoln, CA, to participate in a regional conference called the Conference for Social Transformation: Building Vibrant Communities Together. This gathering brought people together to learn how to channel their energies to promote unity and cooperation in service to their fellow citizens. Conscious of the extreme global challenges facing humanity, the Baha'is at the local, national and international levels invited participants to gain insights from community building activities, initiatives undertaken for social action, and efforts to constructively contribute to prevalent social discourses. Baha'is and their friends and neighbors enjoyed refreshments and each other's company as they shared their thoughts around the conference themes of: Baha’u’llah’s Vision for Humanity; Educational Endeavors and the Training Institute; Contributing to Social Transformation.
