Throughout the Spring/Summer months of 2022, Baha'is around the world are gathering locally with their friends and neighbors for interactive conferences dedicated to the betterment of our communities.
This year, members of the Baháʼí Faith from around the world (over 5 million people) will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the passing of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the son and successor of the Founder of the Baháʼí Faith, Bahá’u’lláh. This illustrious religious leader came to America in 1912 on a 239-day journey to share His Father’s teachings. He traveled by train across America and Canada to visit people from diverse backgrounds and to speak to groups large and small. Some of His most significant talks about peace and the oneness of humanity were delivered in California.

The program is designed to provide information on multiple topics related to race relations and to offer a safe place to share personal experiences regarding racism, with the intention of developing friendships and becoming allies of people of color.

Celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Baha'u'llah
After a lovely program of prayers, music, and talks and videos about the life of Baha'u'llah and the activities of Baha'i communities, Baha'is from around Placer County and their friends and family enjoyed refreshments and each other's company at a reception in Roseville.
On October 21, 2017, many Baha'is from Rocklin, Granite Bay and Loomis celebrated the Birth of the Bab at the Baha'i Reading Room in Penryn.
For months now Baha’is throughout the world have been planning for the Bicentennial Celebration of the birth of Baha’u’llah, Prophet founder of the Baha’i Faith.
Messages have arrived to National and International institutions of the Faith from Heads of State, Prime Ministers, Presidents and Senators who remark on the efforts put forth by Baha’is to fulfill the principles of Unity in diversity.
