After a lovely program of prayers, music, and talks and videos about the life of Baha'u'llah and the activities of Baha'i communities, Baha'is from around Placer County and their friends and family enjoyed refreshments and each other's company at a reception in Roseville.

Peace Camp
The Auburn area Baha'is had an activity table at Peace Camp in Auburn July 29, 2016
Nancy Harper, Christy Crandell and Jan Merrill work a Baha'i Table at the Peace Camp in Auburn, CA on Friday, July 29, 2016. They gave out free Baha'i stickers and invited children to color a virtues coloring sheet. They collected names of adults and children interested in becoming involved the the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program. A good time was had by all.
New workshop in Auburn - Conversations on Racial Healing
On January 12, 2016, a new workshop series will be offered at the Mercy Center Auburn. Several Placer County Baha'is will start a 9-session workshop series called Conversations on Racial Healing. The workshop materials came from the Baha'i-inspired workshops of the Institutes for the Healing of Racism. Baha'is and members of the public are most welcome to participate! We hope to learn and share experiences with people from many backgrounds.
